When you use AIDotAL, we may collect: - Account information: email address, name, and password hash when you register - Domain data: domains you register, DNS records you create, and billing information - Usage data: search queries, page views, and feature usage to improve our service - Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security purposes
How we use your information
We use collected information to: - Provide and improve the AIDotAL service - Process domain registrations and billing - Send transactional emails (registration confirmations, renewal notices) - Detect and prevent fraud or abuse - Comply with legal obligations
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: - The .al registry (AKEP) as required for domain registration - Payment processors (Stripe) for billing - Service providers necessary to operate the platform, under strict confidentiality agreements
WHOIS privacy
All domains registered through AIDotAL include WHOIS privacy at no extra charge. Your personal contact information is replaced with our privacy service details in the public WHOIS record.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. DNS records and domain data are retained for 90 days after domain expiry. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@aidotal.com.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to its processing. Contact us at privacy@aidotal.com to exercise these rights.
